Whatever the time of year, dinner parties can be a lot of fun to organise and host. However with Easter at the weekend, why not add a cheerful touch with some Easter themed decorations.
One of the best things about Easter is the vibrant yellow colours mixed with pretty pastels, so why not try and incorporate this into your dinner party. This doesn’t need to be difficult. With a few touches, you can create a perfect Easter spread for your friends or family. Daffodils go without saying at Easter so make these a gorgeous centrepiece for your table. You could also mix it up and create a more rustic look by placing them in an old jar or in a metal watering can. If you’ve got a bit of time, you could even spray the watering can yellow or a soft pastel colour.
As for other decorations, look out for cute little fluffy chicks or bunny rabbits that make a great accessory scattered across your dining table. Or, if you are having lots of guests around, you could also make place cards in the shape of Easter eggs to add a personalised touch.
When it comes to food, a delicious roast will always go down a treat on Easter Sunday, however you can have some fun with dessert. Perhaps make a yellow dessert or add some Easter fun by decorating your family’s favourite dessert with yellow chocolate eggs.
Whatever you do, have fun by adding a little yellow this Easter. For more inspiration, please visit the Modish Living website.
