5 ways to introduce industrial style to your dining room

In the run up to Christmas, the dining room is probably the most used living space in any home. But dining rooms can sometimes lack a little excitement when it comes to decor. Industrial design is perfect for adding a sophisticated yet edgy twist to any home and is perfectly suited to the dining room.

There has been a big focus on introducing industrial style into the home recently, and this trend is set to get even bigger in 2017. What I love about industrial style is it adds an ultra contemporary twist to rustic dining, and will look fantastic paired with any colour.

I simply adore the Luxe Kensington Reclaimed Wood Dining Table. The industrial table features a table top which has been crafted using reclaimed sleeper wood. This ensures a unique texture, which is perfect for making a statement. This wooden top is paired against the sleek, silver steel base, perfect for incorporating into any contemporary dining room or kitchen. What I particularly love is the option to have a glass top finish, which is great in family home, as it is easy to clean and maintain.

Industrial dining also works wonderfully blended with more traditional designs. The Hoxton Industrial Double Cross Oak Dining Table is perfect for this as the oak table top makes it easy to blend with your existing furniture. Contrasted against the chunky, steel base with a black finish, the table would add a dramatic, urban feel to any dining room which is bound to be a talking point.

The slimmer, round base of the Hyatt Canning Industrial Reclaimed Wood Dining Table makes it perfect if you want to achieve a more understated, industrial finish. The table has been handcrafted by skilled artisans and the wood features natural markings to make each table truly unique and special. As for smaller thing you can do to incorporate industrial style into your dining room is to add large metal accessories such as large metal wall clocks. These are great for adding something interesting to your wall which will make a gorgeous statement. An industrial mirror would also work wonderfully, and are great if you have a smaller room you want to open up.
