This Valentines Day, Need Some Tips on Dining In?

Red Rose for Valentine

Why go out this Valentines Day when you could have a perfect dinner in! Not only is cooking a lot of fun, spending the evening in is a cosy option and decorating your table means you can be as creative as you like.

Spend a little time before Valentines Day creating an amazing menu for you and your partner. Perhaps a meal that you both love or something completely new!

Whether it is a simple yet delicious pasta dish, or something a little more adventurous, cooking something together is enjoyable and may even become a new favourite thing to do.

One of my favourites is Mediterranean chicken with roasted vegetables. After originally finding the recipe on the BBC Good Food website, I have altered the recipe to my own taste adding different ingredients to switch it up. The dish is relatively simple to make but it looks amazing at the centre of your table and tastes delicious. I have found the best thing to do with the dish is to find colourful vegetables so that it looks a little more special. Whatever you pair it with, it is bound to go down a treat!

But even if you don’t like cooking, there are still plenty of ways of having a romantic dinner in. There is always delicious dine-in options at Marks & Spencer which makes the evening simple for you, so you can just spend time being you. With a bottle of pink champagne, eating out next year won’t even cross your mind.

When it comes to decorating your dining table, sometimes keeping things simple is the best way to go. Add a few candles, some napkins and perhaps a sprinkling of rose petals to finish the look, and there you have it, a perfect evening in!
