Not ones to rest on our laurels, we are launching into 2019 not only with a new showroom packed with many of our key pieces but welcoming a new collection to our range too. And we think you’ll agree, there is something about this collection that makes pieces from it a must-have for any home.
The Bonanza Collection
Reclaimed oak furniture with a simple, yet an elegant twist of the industrial furniture style is just one way you can describe the Bonanza Collection. But don’t be deceived by its ‘simplicity’ because sometimes the hardest thing to get right is to not try too hard.
The signature look of this is how the reclaimed oak top sits proud of its metal base and framework. Simple it may be, without details, yet we think this is a great move for allowing the beauty of the reclaimed wood furniture to ‘shine’. You can see the grain and yet there is a refined status to each and every piece that adds a hint of ‘something extra’ to an industrial styled room.
The Bonanza pieces
In the dining room
The rectangular reclaimed oak dining table is a perfect example of reclaimed wood furniture in the industrial style. It is a statement piece. A thick tabletop with all the romance of having lived a different life before it became your dining table, faux leather dining chairs makes for the perfect table-side partners.
Our advice when styling a Bonanza piece is not to overload it with detail. Celebrate its simplicity but with the warmth of oak, it will never look stark or unadorned.
In the living room, there are three pieces for your consideration although they would, of course, ‘fit’ with any room including the home office.
In the living room
The large, reclaimed oak square coffee table is a must for any industrial style lounge. Frame your leather sofa with a pair of the smaller side table, one at either end. And don’t forget a delightful rug to act as a platform bringing the whole space neatly together with symmetry and balance.
If you like simplicity in the bedroom landscape too, these side tables would make a great addition on either side of your bed too.
In the hallway
And finally, we have the slimline, long rectangular reclaimed oak coffee table. Its shape is a welcome change, and more than useful if you want to emphasise the length of a room or space. We also like the idea of this coffee table being a useful room divider in an open plan living area.
And finally, looking at home in the hallway – but also the bedroom as a dressing table or even in the home office as an extra table top space – is a beautiful example of a slimline console table.
A console table always brings its own symmetry and balance thus you don’t need to work hard to give it a stylish look all of its own. The midnight black legs of its frame make it easy to dress – stick with dark metal with silhouettes and you won’t go far wrong.
We’re expecting exciting things from our Bonanza collection…
