Rustic Bench

Delivery approx 4 weeks. The Farringdon Reclaimed Wood Bench comes in 2 sizes and so can be combined with all the Reclaimed Wood Dining Tables in the Farringdon Range. The reclaimed wood has previously served in buildings in Vietnam and has been carefully restored to produce a quality and characterful material for furniture construction. Natural markings and nail holes are left to offer hints of a previous industrial use. The wood is also hand finished and all pieces are therefore truly individual. In order to give the reclaimed wood in the Farringdon range a standardised feel, our craftsmen use several coats of Saltash grey staining followed by a lacquer to achieve a distinctly Scandinavian colour pallet.

Reclaimed wood variations

Variation in finish

Reclaimed wood that has been hand finished, will vary in tone giving you a one-of-a-kind piece.

Splits & nail marks

Nails are removed manually and hand sanded making every piece unique.

Reclaimed wood comes with knots and natural markings, giving it a unique character.

A truly unique and natural material

Every piece of reclaimed wood furniture comes with a story to tell and its written all over its face. Salvaged from former barns, warehouses, disused railways, scaffolding boards and even old Chinese fishing junks, the wood is carefully crafted by master craftspeople to maintain the individuality and history each piece boasts.

It won’t look pristine. It will have its very own marks and scuffs, dents and knots, nail holes and cracks. Each imperfection is a celebration of its history and uniquenesses and brings a beauty that is impossible to replicate.

More about reclaimed wood and how its rustic beauty is a thing to be proud of.
